Summer House, Henley
Project date: 2008-2009
We were approached by an award winning architect who had a very clear but challenging vision. The idea was to create a contemporary interpretation of an original Lutyens design for a summer house.
The intricate design and extensive detailing dictated the use of seasoned, air dried timber which unlike green oak is not prone to movement. After eight months of painstaking work the end result can fairly be described as breathtaking and has now been entered for numerous workmanship and architectural awards.
