The clients, who had a lovely house set in a beautiful south facing garden needed more space but did not want to move. The sun room built by James Ogilvie Traditional Oak Buildings doubled the ground floor area of the property, providing a light and airy living space and significantly improving the external appearance of the building.
As is often the case, the introduction of an oak frame adds much welcome character to a home. In this case, James Ogilvie Traditional Oak Buildings went on to add further oak timber details in the kitchen and other areas of the house. This enabled the warmth and character of the oak frame to be extended, providing a mellow and visually coherent feel to the property.
